The Korea Dried Persimmon Festival was held in Sangju Dried Persimmon Park in Oenam-myeon, Sangju-si, and had performances such as a re-creation of offer tribute to the king and a parade, the musical ‘Dried Persimmons Scarier than Tigers,’ the puppet show ‘Kkokkai Kkokkai’ and competitions and participation events such as a fusion dried persimmon cooking contest, a relay race with a stroller filled with dried persimmons, ‘I am the Sangju specialty,’ dried persimmon writing, persimmons peeling and eating, etc.

Sangju dried persimmon festival is held at the Sangju civic stadium. It has participation events such as a ceremony wishing for a good harvest, dried persimmon auction, experience programs and performance events such as street play performances, fine colored silk choir, and the Unification Echo Orchestra.
