Details

This mountain is on the border of Hwanggan-myeon, Youngdong-gun of Chungbuk and Modong-myeon of Sangju-si, 933m high and one day course tracking is possible.

There are two courses, which one trail starts from Subong-ri from Sangju-si and descends into Youngdong-gun, and the other starts at the Hwanggan Forest Bath from Youngdong-gun.

In the course departing from Subong-ri, if you follow the streets and you will see Okdongseowon of Sindeokmaul.

Crossing the creek from here, you will come across the crossroad and reach Bohyeonsa on 100 meters up the road to the right.

From here, following the Track Road will lead you to the Yongchu Falls, and after about an hour of walking up a little steeper road, you will reach the Bomunsa site.

15 minutes walking up more leads you to meet a crossroad, which the left side is the road to the Peak, and the right is a road that runs up to Geokdolsanseong (a wall of 20km in total length, 4m in height and 3.6m in width).

As you climb the Peak, you will see Songnisan, Minjujisan and Deogyusan.

There is Banyasa on the tracking road, built in King Sungdeok era, which descends towards Youngdong-gun.

Baekwasan has natural objects with stories such as Gusujeong, Imseokcheondae, Geumdolsanseong, etc., and is popular with leisurely and abundant hiking trails.
