In 2012, Jungdeokji was formed into Natural Ecology Park, and 4 water purification and wetland areas, 2.3km of ecological trails, 203m of floating water deck and 4 pavilions were installed.

In addition to the lotus flowers, it has been able to see the flowers in all seasons by planting wild flowers and trees. The Natural Ecology Education Center, a lotus-shaped building, also has a book cafe that offers free tea and resting area.

Visitors can walk on the water deck and walk along the beach to enjoy the flowers, as well as experience the natural ecology. In addition, various cultural and artistic events are held close to the city center, making it a good resting place and an educational place.

From the middle of May to the early June has the opium-poppy flowers, which has a solid and attractive appearance, and in July to August, you will meet Jungdeokji with the lotus blossoms on the waterfront of more than 30,000 pyeong. This not only makes people’s minds flutter, but also keeps people coming to heal themselves and take the beauty in photographs.
